GILSON HOTEL, Kingston upon Hull – A Smart Stay in the City

The hotel provided a mixed experience with very friendly staff but noisy rooms looking out onto traffic. The cleanliness was questionable at times, yet the spaciousness and ample towels were appreciated. Location-wise, it was close to rail links but could get loud at night. The dining options were both good value for money and disappointing at times.

However, the service was exceptional, with extremely friendly and helpful staff. The location turned out to be a fantastic one, making it easy to get around, although the dining left much to be desired with tasteless food and noisy surroundings.
